Product Manager with a Focus on Payment Automation UX

The mission of the product manager in charge of payment automation UX is to to provide quick, effortless and intuitive experience of effectively managing their settlements with suppliers and clients through all the interactions with us and our product including communication with our support team or reading our content.

Your outcomes

  • Within your first 3 month develop a strategy for evolving our current offering to a mature, holistic and comprehensive payments platform for the translation industry including a go-to-market strategy in collaboration with marketing and sales teams that supports the company’s target high-growth pace.
  • Build and agree on a 3–6 month roadmap for building out the most urgent missing parts in the current platform according to the above strategy.
  • Deliver the roadmap plan achieving not only the functional update but also stable scaling of the product supporting rapid daily user growth according to the roadmap timeline.


  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, customers, and users.
  • Experience working as a product manager for a payment-related product and outstanding achievements in this role.
  • Ability to understand Smartcat’s vision and functionality of the whole platform in depth (beyond the payments part). We are building a market network for the global translation industry, which is a complex multi-sided marketplace on top of an industry-specific workflow automation solution.   • Data-driven approach to business. Ability to justify decisions using concrete metrics.
  • Ability to think big and start small, meaning finding the easiest and fastest solutions to test hypotheses and get results.
  • Technical competence and experience working with complex solutions.
  • Understanding of a good UI/UX.
  • Hands-on experience in customer development and UX-testing
  • Integrity and full commitment.
