I deal with localization of Hoard's Dairyman, a magazine which deals with articles on the U.S. dairy practice, economy, feeding, crops etc., from English to Japanese. I mainly proofread translated scripts done by two different translators, which need to be precisely checked and even re-translated and written from scratch because their translation skills are often poor to the extent they could never reach the desired quality of the articles.

Responsibilities: Temporary Assistant Coordinator.
Students from Central and Eastern Europe took an academic curriculum that was held for a couple of weeks at JICE to study agriculture in Japan. I supported coordinators who provided care for the students.

Responsibilities in this role:
Responsible mainly for the general management of the school, including making curricula for students to study and prepare for the entrance exams for higher level schools. Tutored the students in four subjects: English language, Japanese language, mathematics, and social studies. Led all the students successfully to pass the exams to advance to the higher level schools of the students' choice.

A private basic English conversation school (Memuro, Hokkaido, Japan)
Responsibilities and accomplishments:
Responsible for giving supplementary lessons to elementary and junior high school students. Tutored them in three subjects: English, mathematics, and social studies.
I was also responsible for providing basic English conversation lessons to students that belonged to various age group, from elementary school pupils to adults.
As a translator, I completed the translation of two sets of documents. One is a Japanese-English translation of an agricultural thesis that dealt with the no-tillage method of agriculture. The other is an English-Japanese translation of documents to be submitted to the civil court as a source of evidence.
