Native Norwegian with 20+ years of editorial experience, having worked as a translator, journalist and editor with both printed magazines and websites since 1996.
Translation-wise, I have worked extensively with translations from English, Danish and Swedish to Norwegian, for several of the largest media companies and publishing houses in the Nordics, as well as other major multinational corporations. Most recently, I have worked on localization projects for some of the world's biggest players in sectors like logistics, fitness and security.
I can provide very quick turnaround on projects, never outsource anything and I am very thorough, dependable and flexible.
I was born in Norway. I have a bachelor degree (and an aborted master thesis) from the University of Tromsoe. In my studies in anthropology i focussed on the development of demand structures and market channels in the emerging markets of post-communist Eastern Europe.
Since May 2000 i have been living in Bulgaria. Here i set up a business that produces and sells jewellery. In addition to my managerial tasks, I have been doing the marketing and brand management of the company. I recently sold my shares in the business, and I would now like to try my hand at freelance writing, both translations and copywriting. In my spare time I am an avid duplicate bridge player.
