Hello! My name is Júlia and I'm an ENG-PTBR translator.
My translations are manually done by me, never through any sort of machine translations and they are also proofread and revised before turned in. I have worked with an assorted number of online and software CAT tools and have basic knowledge of coding and I'm a fast learner with new technologies and software.
My goal while translating and revising is for the text to seem localized, I always try to make the end result flow easily on the reader's eyes. I adapt the text (when needed) so it doesn't look "chunky" or "automated", it should always look like someone wrote it and not a translation bot.
I am very motivated and passionate about translating. I believe localizing and making sure the right message is delivered is always very fun and important. I value my clients and always aim for their satisfaction. My schedule is very flexible and I'm very committed to my deadlines.
Thank you in advance!

So, those things prove that I grew up around art things, and when I was kind 13 years old, I decided that I would be a writer, after started writing fanfics. When I finished the college, I decided course undergraduation (BA) in Translation Studies, because I already have the English that I learn in Lagueges Schools, and I love my own language, so this course combines both of them. I managed to enter the writer area I'm until now learning more and more about translation, and I'm liking.

I had 10 years of english in school from 2nd grade until the end of highschool. I like to act, sing and to write songs which I do fully in english. However, my most extensive experience with english started when I went in exchange to Amsterdam in 2017. I lived with international students, from everywhere in the world and the course where taugh in english. It was my only way of communication for months. After coming back home it felt like some part of me was missing so I made the decision of going back to Amsterdam to do my master, which I started last year. During this period I found a job, started tutoring, participating in international contexts to widen my international experience and took courses online from universities in New Zealand and United States. I decided to use my experience in an entrepreneurial way and signed up to this website who was recommended by my university.
