Hello, my name is Stefan. I graduated on Faculty of Law in Novi Sad. Currently, I am on a Master program in Belgrade which is held in English. I have been actively learning English for several years both in private schools and individually. I have b2 and c1 level certificates and I am currently preparing for CPE. I worked for OneHourTranslation company for 3 years as a translator.
I speak Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian and Montenegrin as my native languages, and also Slovene and English at a very high level, and my knowledge is general, mostly about social sciences and education, but I am willing to learn new things about the natural sciences and technology, to be able to quickly translate texts from those areas.
I have 5 years of experience working as a freelance translator, with native-level English language skills, and have previously done editing, proofreading, transcription, and voice recording work, among others. I can use CAT Tools such as Trados Studio 2017, MemoQ, and Memsource. I also have excellent knowledge of German and French, with previous translation and call center work experience in those two languages.
I have been working as a translator for more than 9 years. I am a professor of English language and literature and also a certified Court Interpreter for the English Language.
My mother tongue is Serbian, being that one of the official languages in Bosnia, and Bosnian as well. I can read and write in both Cyrillic and Latin letters, in Ekavian (spoken in Serbia) and Ijekavian (spoken in Bosnia) dialects.
I am a reliable, dedicated to work, interested and experienced in different fields, used to work under deadlines, open to cooperation.
