I am a freelance Portuguese to English translator/content writer. I specialize in the social sciences and IT/Software development. I am currently based in Ireland, but I have spent many years living in Portugal. I have five years professional experience as a software developer and I remain up to date in the area. I am especially interested in R programming and data visualization. I obtained a degree in Sociology in 2009 and consider myself highly competent as a translator in the social sciences and in the humanities in general. I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it.
